Apurva Chaturvedi

Apurva Chaturvedi is a clean energy professional currently working as Senior Clean Energy Specialist in the Clean Energy and Environment Office in USAID India. She has over 15 years of experience in clean energy and power sector. She has the experience of designing and managing several clean energy programs at USAID. Her area of expertise is strategy formulation and program design & management. She is currently leading the distribution utilities, smart grids, emobility, and energy efficiency portfolio of USAID’s clean energy program in India.

Jiwan Acharya

Jiwan Acharya is currently focused on developing and implementing energy efficiency, renewable energy and other broader energy sector projects in India and Nepal. He worked with Energy Sector Group Secretariat in the Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department of ADB in October 2006 as Senior Energy Specialist. He is a key member of ADB's Energy Sector Group and Climate Change Team and was responsible for overseeing ADB's several key initiatives including Energy for All, and Low Carbon Technology Transfer, among others. Yusuke Muraki

After graduation, Yusuke started his carrier as an engineer and a flight controller for Japanese Experiment Module, “Kibo” in the International Space Station program in JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency).

After engaging in the development of equipment for the module and the real-time operation in the program, he was assigned to the Satellite Applications and Promotion Center of JAXA and engaged in the promotion of satellite applications.

Alexandra Galperin

Alexandra Galperin has over 25 years of experience in Disaster Risk Management. Before joining ADB’s Pacific Regional Department in 2020, she worked for the Red Cross, the United Nations, and as a consultant for multiple technical, donor, humanitarian, and development organizations balancing headquarter and field assignments. Her experience of large-scale disaster response and recovery operations at the beginning of her career convinced her that she wanted to focus on preventive and adaptive action.

Santosh Nepal

Dr Nepal has been working with the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) Nepal as a Researcher – Water Resources and Climate Change since March 2022. He is responsible for leading and managing applied research on water resources, water-energy- food-environment (WEFE) nexus, and climate change in the Himalayan region, including Nepal, Southeast, and South Asia.
