Nicole Ann Ponce is an environmental activist and human rights lawyer-advocate from the Philippines. Currently, she is working with the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), the French National Centre for Scientific Research, as a research fellow. Her work mainly involves the application of international law on themes involving, climate justice, climate change law, international environmental law and human rights, peace and security, and the recognition of the rights of future generations.

Sean Maguire is Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Clean Air Fund. He builds global partnerships to speed up the transition to clean air everywhere. His focus is on driving concerted international action on air pollution, establishing and working towards international targets for clean air, and increasing the flow of international funding towards clean air projects. 

Mr. Yu KAMEI was born in Aichi prefecture and graduated from Kyoto University with a Bachelor of Engineering. He joined the Ministry of the Environment, in Japan in 2007. Since then, he worked on climate change measures, waste management, fishery resources conservation, environment impact assessment, radioactive materials countermeasures water pollution control, etc. in the Ministry of the Environment and Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Japan.  In 2020, he was seconded to Nasushiobara City as Deputy Mayor till 2023.

Dr. Tran Dai Nghia is the head of the Department of Natural Resource and Environmental Economic Studies, the head Climate Change and REDD+ research group at IPSARD, a member of the NDC and NAP task force and also the head of technical advisory group to the COP 26 implementation taskforce and an advisor for the sustainable, responsible and transparent transformation of food system and agricultural carbon market within MARD; leading the process of development of MRV tools and GHG inventory guidelines for AFOLU sector.
