Nicolas Rossin

Nicolas Rossin has been a regional task team leader on biodiversity for the Agence Française de développement (AFD) since 2017. He’s currently based at AFD regional office in Beijing where he’s in charge of the projects portfolio on biodiversity and natural capital in China (including the China Biodiversity Facility) and Vietnam. He joined AFD in 2002 and has since worked in operations, both in the field (regional office for South Pacific in New Caledonia and country office in Mauritania) and at headquarters.

Chungshen Yao

Mr. Chunsheng Yao is FAO GEF Portfolio Officer, managing and implementing GEF projects on biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation and land restoration. He has over 10 years of work experience in the environment and development field, including international and national foundations, development agencies and NGOs. He used to work as Senior Program Manager of SEE Foundation to manage projects on biodiversity conservation and nature education.

Zhang Mingxiang

Dr. Mingxiang Zhang, Professor and Deputy Dean of School of Ecology and Nature Conservation, Beijing Forestry University, the National Environmental Policy and Legislation Expert of the UNDP-GEF "Strengthening the protected area network for migratory bird conservation along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway in China ",and engaged in Wetland legislation, responsible for drafting the "Wetland Conservation Law (proposal draft)”.

Lei Guangchun

Professor, School of Ecology & Nature Conservation, Beijing Forestry University Professor LEI Guangchun has 30 years’ experience in wetland ecology and migratory bird conservation. He worked in government and NGO sectors; and then became Dean of the School of Nature Conservation, Beijing Forestry University since 2007, after his commitment as Senior Advisor for the Asia and Oceania region in Ramsar Convention Secretariat. Prof. Lei was one of the initiators of the East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership (EAAFP), which was launched in November in 2006.
