He is responsible for administering transport projects and programs in the Central and East Asia Regions. Dr. Nishimura previously worked with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of the Government of Japan. He obtained a PhD in international studies from the University of Tokyo, the Master in City Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Master of Engineering from Nagoya University, Japan.
