Masahiro Nishimura is a Unit Head, Project Administration for the Transport Sector Office in the Sectors Group of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). He is responsible for preparing and administering projects and programs and engaging in the areas of the agriculture value chain, transport, and inclusive rural development. Mr. Nishimura previously worked with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism of the Government of Japan. He obtained Ph.D. in international studies from the University of Tokyo, a Master in City Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Master of Engineering from Nagoya University, Japan. He has over ten years of work experience in ADB in South Asia, East Asia, and Southeast Asia regional departments.
