Investing In Natural Capital: Towards Sustainability And Climate Resilience in Sri Lanka

Serendipity Knowledge Program (SKOP) is an ADB platform dedicated to identifying knowledge solutions for Sri Lanka's development challenges. Serendib is one of Sri Lanka's ancient names and serendipity refers to a fortunate finding, which is a common occurrence throughout the history of product invention and scientific discovery. ADB established this new knowledge program in 2021 in line with its vision as a knowledge solutions bank.

Kazuhiro Yoshida

Mr. Kazuhiro Yoshida is the Senior Water Resources Specialist of the Asian Development Bank. He joined the Bank in 2020. He is the focal person of the water pillar of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program and the officer of water resources and irrigation projects in Tajikistan, Kyrgyz Republic, and Pakistan.

Ernst Rauch

Ernst is the Chief Climate and Geo Scientist bei Munich Re (Group). A geophysicist by profession joined Munich Re's Geo Risks Research Department in 1988.

In January 2018, he was appointed as Chief Climate and Geo Scientist and became a member of the senior executive management team of Munich Re. His area of responsibility

includes business development activities.
