This presentation introduced CAITO’s data-driven capacity building approach, showcasing its Workforce Intelligence System as an example of how integrated data platforms, real-time dashboards, and AI-powered analytics can transform fragmented information into actionable insights to support proactive workforce planning, skills mapping, and coordinated local, regional, and national decision-making toward systems that learn, adapt, and thrive.

Empowering teachers with AI competencies to redesign teaching and assessment supports improvements in students' AI literacy and learning outcomes

This presentation highlighted the importance of empowering teachers with AI competencies to improve student AI literacy and learning outcomes, showcasing Kazakhstan’s nationwide training programme through the National Center for Professional Development “Orleu,” which localized UNESCO-developed content, trained over 324,000 teachers with a 77% completion rate, and integrated the programme into the national in-service teacher training framework.
