As ADB’s Representative in Japan, she is responsible for outreach to various partners and stakeholders, including government offices at the central and subnational levels, local private sector, media, academic and educational institutions, and multilateral and bilateral development agencies, helping raise ADB’s profile in Japan and explore opportunities for various collaborative activities.

Chitoshi, a Senior Procurement Specialist in the Procurement Department at the Asian Development Bank, has been outposted to Vietnam since September 2023 as Regional Procurement Head for Vietnam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Thailand.

Khamphet, a Senior Procurement Specialist, has been working with the World Bank Vientiane Office since 2009, to provide procurement support to World Bank-financed projects under the Lao portfolio. Before joining the World Bank, he worked for the MPWT for 20 years, at various levels including as a Project Manager for the ADB Sixth Road Improvement Project.
