Integrated Capacity Development Training on ADB Funded Projects in Lahore, Pakistan

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) Pakistan Resident Mission’s (PRM) Capacity Development Resource Center(CDRC), in collaboration with CWOD-PSG, CWER, PPFD, and OAI,  successfully conducted a three-day program: 2nd Integrated Capacity Development Training in Lahore from 1st August till 3rd August 2023.  Executing and Implementing Agencies (EAs/IAs)  (and other stakeholders—if it was participated by others beyond EAs/IAs)) from Punjab  (please state federal, and which other provincial officials participated) participated in the event. 

The training was organized to strengthen the skills and capacity of  EAs/IAs to implement projects and achieve development objectives effectively.  The interactive program explored in depth and encompassed active discussion around the following themes: ADB Project Cycle, ADB Due Diligence and Social Safeguards, Procurement, Financial Management and Disbursements, and Integrity and Accountability. The project cycle and anticorruption sessions were held in plenary, while the three parallel breakout sessions were dedicated to Procurement, Safeguards, and Financial Management.
