Richard Argall is an expert in ocean energy and marine renewables works on Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) projects for Makai Ocean Energy Division.

He explained OTEC work which produces electricity 24/7 by using the temperature difference between deep cold ocean water and warm tropical surface waters. He also explained the use cases for the collocation of other marine activities. He discussed the generation of hydrogen and Ammonia for shipping.
