To address the continuing decline of wetlands particularly in the East Asian-Australasian Flyway (EAAF), the Asian Development Bank, with partners BirdLife International and the EAAF Partnership, recently launched the Regional Flyway Initiative. RFI leads to the development of investment-ready projects in about 50+ priority sites in the EEAAFP, in the process protecting internationally threatened waterbird species and wetland biodiversity while maximizing co-benefits for people
