Improving Services to Customers in the Pacific: Condition Assessments

The workshop was based on the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA) manual Condition Assessment and Asset Performance Guidelines – Water Supply and Sewerage. This document dealt with the management of water and sewer assets.
The following topics were discussed:
- Asset management in general and the international standard ISO55000
- Levels of Service
- Information management
- Condition assessment and ratings
- Data analysis
This workshop covered some theory and focused on the practical aspects of condition assessment and maintenance planning.
This learning event is part of the Pacific WASH webinar series that serves as a regional platform to advance knowledge and learning in utility operations and the broader WASH sector practice.
