COVID-19 Response and Recovery: Experience and Lessons of New Zealand
The second Policy Actions for COVID-19 Economic Recovery (PACER) Dialogue on “COVID-19 Response and Recovery: Experience and Lessons of New Zealand" featured New Zealand’s design and implementation of its multi-faceted COVID-19 response and recovery policies. Over 100 participants including 42 government officials from Southeast Asia and the People’s Republic of China participated in the Dialogue, sharing knowledge and country experiences and lessons on monetary, fiscal and financial policies and measures that can mitigate negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and support economic recovery.
The second session of the PACER Dialogues aimed to:
- promote better understanding of multi-faceted policy responses to address the COVID-19 pandemic;
- highlight New Zealand’s experience and lessons in utilizing a wide-range of policies and measures to address the COVID-19 crisis; and,
- provide a platform for policy makers to share knowledge and experience and collaboratively learn from each other.
