Baguio City is vulnerable to climate hazards such as floods and landslides, which pose a threat to its economic development. The ASEAN Australia Smart Cities Trust Fund's (AASCTF) Baguio Smart Flood Early Warning, Information, and Mitigation System pilot project aims to improve the city's flood early warning system, responses, and mitigation measures. This final report highlights the project's achievements to date, findings, and outputs-- including the development of a smart flood early warning information system, a real-time data capture system, as well as capacity building efforts at the local level. Recommendations are also made for further activities to enhance the sustainability of the system.

The project is supported by the Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, managed by ADB, and implemented by Ramboll.
