A study tour program to Malaysia for high and medium level local government officials from Pekanbaru, Jambi, Palembang and Makassar, organized by Indah Water Konsortium Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia’s state owned wastewater operator and member of the consortium managing the CDTA, was implemented in May 2019. The purpose of the program was to provide participants with a basic knowledge of wastewater management operations as well as exposure to Malaysia’s wastewater management and related public policies needed in wastewater management (high level officials, group 1), and a basic practical/technical understanding of wastewater management operations (medium level officials, group 2).

Among other aspects, the report contains details of the program for each of the two groups and the evaluation by participants.
