Yokohama 2017: Civil Society Program

04 May 2017 to 07 May 2017
Yokohama
Japan

Recognizing the crucial role of CSOs in helping reduce poverty in the region, ADB has been engaging civil society organizations (CSOs) on its operations.

During the 50th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors in May 2017, the Civil Society Program was part of the meeting that included sessions related to ADB’s key work.

The sessions served as a venue to tackle pressing issues, including those related to the Sustainable Development Goals, and climate change actions. ADB works with CSOs in assisting developing member countries to achieve their respective development goals.
