ADB supported Nam Theun 2 Hydropower Project in Lao PDR as it is seen to help reduce poverty incidence in the area. Issues have been raised by certain groups, particularly on the alleged failure to restore livelihoods and provide long-term gains to the residents.

This presentation looks into the issues raised by civil society organizations about the project.
