Strategies for Supplying Water to Informal Areas and Handwashing in Public Places
3 February 2021

The workshop provided information on the range of designs that have been implemented around the world to support improved handwashing. While this has not historically been a role for utilities, there is strong demand in many countries for utilities to support handwashing as a COVID-19 response measure.

The workshop was presented by John Dennis from Environmental Health Consulting (NZ) Ltd, Carlos Vasquez from UNICEF in PNG, and Seru Soderberg of Water Authority of Fiji.

This learning event is part of the Pacific WASH webinar series that serves as a regional platform to advance knowledge and learning in utility operations and the broader WASH sector practice.
