ADB Business Opportunities Seminar in Honolulu, Hawaii
27 February 2026

United States

On 27 February 2026, the Asian Development Bank’s North American Representative Office (ADB NARO) and the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii in Honolulu, Hawaii, organized a dynamic Business Opportunities Seminar designed exclusively for US companies ready to expand into fast-growing markets across Asia and the Pacific. This event offered a unique gateway to the ADB’s projects, spanning infrastructure, energy, digital development, and more.

Why US companies should work with ADB
  • Access to a multi-billion dollar project pipeline: ADB invests heavily across Asia and the Pacific with an annual average pipeline of $35-$40 billion of lending a year, creating significant opportunities for US firms to participate in fast-growing emerging markets.
  • Transparent, rules-based procurement: ADB’s procurement system is fair, open, and competitive—giving US companies a level playing field and reducing the risks often associated with entering emerging markets.
  • Strategic entry point to Asia and the Pacific: Working with the ADB helps US companies establish credibility, visibility, and relationships in one of the fastest-growing economies in the world.

Objectives
During the event, participants had the opportunity to:
  • learn how to find procurement opportunities through the ADB’s website
  • get a preview of pipeline projects in key sectors and regions
  • meet with ADB technical experts about priorities and upcoming opportunities
