Vice President, ADB Profile / Bio Scott Morris is an international economic policymaker and development finance expert with over 30 years of experience driving strategic initiatives across multilateral development banks, government agencies, and think tanks. Currently, as Vice-President for East Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific at the Asian Development Bank, he leads a $50 billion portfolio supporting sustainable growth across 24 countries. Previously, he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, overseeing U.S. engagement with major multilateral development banks and managing key debt and development finance policies. He also spent a decade advising U.S. Congressional leadership on international economic policy and successfully led landmark legislation reforming the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
