This webinar will inaugurate the new ADBI Voices of Inclusion Speaker Series, aimed at promoting gender inclusion in Asia and the Pacific through knowledge and experience-sharing by influential thinkers. It will feature Chantale Wong, who was recently appointed as the United States Executive Director to the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

This year’s forum explored how advancing equal participation in agriculture can unlock women’s potential to boost agricultural production, food security, and sustainable development. Key stakeholders and experts from international organizations and academia identified policy recommendations for empowering women to participate in agriculture on a level playing field, with equitable opportunities for decent work and livelihoods.

In celebration of International Women’s Month, ADB Southeast Asia Human and Social Development Division organized the second SECURE Webinar on Making Women’s Challenges and Roles in the COVID-19 Vaccination Programs Visible.
