Strengthening the Environmental Dimensions of the SDGs

This presentation gave an overview of ADB's regional technical assistance 9245 on "Supporting the Implementation of Environment Related SDGs in Asia and the Pacific" ad how the project helps strengthen the capacities of ADB developing member countries to integrate environmental dimensions of the SDGs into their national policies, plans, and programs. It also laid out the workshop's objectives, relevant background materials, and expected workshop outputs.

Kim Thi Thuy Ngoc

Ms. Kim Thi Thuy Ngoc is working at the Institute of Strategy on Natural Resources and Environment (ISPONRE), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE). She graduated at Ha Noi National University in 1994 with a major in biodiversity. She also earned her Master of Science at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand. She obtained her Ph.D. at Ha Noi National University.

This presentation gives an overview of the System of Environmental Economic Accounting (SEEA) implementation in Mongolia, as well as the methodology, guidance, and process in revising Mongolia's BOH forms (standardized forms used to collect environmental statistics data).
