Ms. Kim Thi Thuy Ngoc is working at the Institute of Strategy on Natural Resources and Environment (ISPONRE), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE). She graduated at Ha Noi National University in 1994 with a major in biodiversity. She also earned her Master of Science at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand. She obtained her Ph.D. at Ha Noi National University.
Dr. Ngoc has been working at the Institute of Strategy on Natural Resources and Environment (ISPONRE) since 2008. She has participated in a number of international and national projects on natural resources and environment (i.e Project for Ecosystem Services; Core Environment Program; Poverty and Environment Project; Wealth Accounting and Valuation of Ecosystem Services, Valuing the Forests – an application of natural capital accounting (NCA) in Viet Nam and Lao; Conservation of Critical Wetland Protected areas and linked landscapes and linkage landscape; Investing in natural capital and sustainable transport in the Mekong Sub Region – a case study in Viet Nam, etc.)
