Rachana Shrestha

Rachana Shrestha is a Public Management Specialist in ADB’s Public Sector Management and Governance Group. She has been working in the areas of decentralization, public financial management, governance, and localizing SDGs to support policy and institutional reforms, and project design and implementation. Ms. Shrestha also worked in ADB’s Nepal Resident Mission for 10 years. Prior to joining DB, she worked for Netherlands Development Organization (SNV), International Labour Organization(ILO), and Voluntary Service Overseas for more than 7years.

Hiranya Mukhopadhyay

Hiranya Mukhopadhyay is currently working as Chief, Governance Thematic Group, Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department, Asian Development Bank. Prior to joining ADB in 2001, he worked at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (New Delhi, India). He holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has also visited Boston University and Oxford University as a Post-Doctoral Fellow and completed research projects.

Yuji Miyaki

Mr. Yuji Miyaki is a tax specialist with over 25 years of experience in tax policy and administration, joined ADB in 2014 supporting ADB’s member countries on the development and implementation of fiscal policies, including tax policies, and capacity building. Prior to joining ADB, he worked for 20 years in the Ministry of Finance and the National Tax Agency in Japan.

Patrick Duong

Mr. Patrick Duong leads UNDP’s work on local governance and SDG localization in Asia and the Pacific. He is based in Bangkok in the UNDP Regional Hub that serves 26 countries. Patrick has over 20 years of experience at policy and technical level. He has advised governments in several senior advisory positions in Asia and Africa. He earlier worked with civil society organizations, DFID, and the EU in Africa, the Middle East, and in the Balkan region.
