Recognized for strong client orientation and excellent knowledge of ADB, GIZ, KfW, and WB policies and operations.

Dorothea Netz is a senior manager at Germany Trade and Invest (GTAI) in Bonn's Development Cooperation and Public Procurement division. She has 15 years of experience in international cooperation and trade promotion, focusing on sustainability and partnerships between companies and development institutions.

Derek is an Associate Procurement Officer with over nine years of experience at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Throughout his tenure, he has played a key role in streamlining ADB’s procurement processes, overseeing consultant recruitment, and managing contracts effectively.

Mr. Mirza Ashfaqur Rahman was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority (BPPA) on November 3, 2024. Prior to this, on August 20, 2024, he was designated to lead BPPA and appointed as the Project Director for the “Digitizing Implementation Monitoring and Public Procurement Project (DIMAPPP),” currently underway at BPPA.
