Mary Jane Dela Rosa is a Supervising Economic Development Specialist at the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) - the Philippines’ premier socioeconomic planning body. She holds a Master's Degree in Development Management at the University of the Philippines Los Baños in 2010 and a Bachelor's Degree in Agribusiness Management in the same university in 2000.

What Happens When the Grid Comes? – The Case of ADB-Assisted Project on Community-Based Energy System in Mindanao

This presentation discussed the Dalupan Micro Hydro Power Plant, one of the pilot renewable energy projects implemented with the help of ADB technical assistance to increase access to energy in rural areas in Mindanao using renewable energy. It also examined the project's key features, major challenges, impacts, and how community consultations were conducted.

Diane Gail Maharjan

Diane Gail Maharjan is the current OIC-Assistant Director of the Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment Staff of NEDA. She has been with the national planning agency for 12.5 years and has been shepherding policy review, planning, and programming for the environment and natural resources sector. Ms. Maharjan led the formulation of, and the current midterm updating of the Environment Chapter of the Philippine Development Plan 2017-2022 including its accompanying Results Matrix and Public Investment Program.
