Ana Lucía Vich Gadella

Ana Vich is Economist of State since 2004, when she started her career at the Spanish Treasury, working as economic advisor in economic and financial issues related to the Eurozone. In 2008, she assumed the functions of the attached deputy director for sectoral policies in the General Directorate for Economic Policies, dealing with the underlying economic rationale of Spanish sectoral legislation.

Aaron Batten

Aaron Batten is the Regional Director for ADB’s Pacific Subregional Office in Suva, Fiji where he oversees the delivery of ADB’s financing and knowledge solutions in the Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Niue, Samoa, Tonga, and Tuvalu. Mr Batten has 18 years of international experience, across the South Pacific, South-East Asia, and Africa. He has a background in international economics, fiscal and debt management and infrastructure project management. Mr Batten received a PhD in International Economics from the Australian National University in 2009.

Brad Williams

Brad Williams is Head of the Australian Trade and Investment Commission’s (Austrade) operations in New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific. He also holds the position of Consul-General of Australia in Auckland.

Prior to joining Austrade, he was Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Logistics Council a leading industry body representing businesses operating in, and servicing, the freight and logistics supply chain in Australia.
