Valérie joined ICMA (Paris office) in 2014. Her role as Director in the sustainable finance team is largely dedicated to the secretariat to the Executive Committee of the Principles and the related working groups. She is also secretary to the SVT (primary dealers on the French govies) Market Committee. In parallel, Valerie is coordinating the activities and events of the ICMA Women’s Network in Paris.

Is the Chief Executive Officer of MFO Crystal. He is an accomplished project manager and IT governance specialist with extensive experience leading change management projects in the IT and banking sectors. He began his career as a web developer, moving into IT Project Management for a US Law firm in 2007-2009 and DPK Consulting in 2009.

Bernhard Bartels is Group Managing Director within Scope Group, Europe’s leading rating agency. On behalf of Scope Group, he acts as Head of ESG and oversees the analytical work at Scope ESG Analysis GmbH, including ESG ratings, reviews, second-party opinions, and climate risk products. Prior to joining Scope ESG Analysis in January 2021, he worked as a sovereign analyst for three years. Bernhard Bartels holds a PhD in Macroeconomics and a post-graduate degree in International Economics from the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.
