Tracking ADB’s portfolio on Environment and Nature

The presentation explained how ADB tracks its environment and nature portfolio under the new Corporate Results Framework. It outlined the Strategy 2030 midterm priorities, the updated outcome-oriented indicators, and the tools and resources used for reporting environment-related results. The slides also highlighted ADB’s current environment-tagged portfolio, upcoming revisions to nature finance tracking standards, and key steps toward preparing the 2026 Sustainability Report.

Pang Thitirat Sittakardej

Pang is the lead of the ADB Ventures SEED Program, which provides catalytic financing to early-stage enterprises driving impact in Asia and the Pacific. She brings extensive experience in identifying and supporting startups that combine technology, sustainability, and scalability. She leads the CWFPF Seed Ventures Window, which aims to nurture such enterprises to accelerate innovation in chemicals and waste management.

Jackie Spiteri

Jackie Spiteri is an experienced sustainability professional with over 18 years in the maritime and infrastructure sectors. She is the Founder and Managing Director of SESG, a specialist advisory firm helping organisations navigate the evolving sustainability and reporting landscape through tailored strategies, implementation, and education.

Adrian Sammons

Adrian Sammons is an international transport specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in maritime, ports, and logistics. He currently serves as a Senior Transport Specialist (Maritime Transport & Ports) with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), based at ADB headquarters in Manila, where he leads work on sustainable port and maritime development across the Asia–Pacific region.

Ruth Madden

Ruth Madden is the ESG Manager at the Port of Newcastle, where she leads the development and implementation of the port’s sustainability strategy.

Ruth’s focus areas include decarbonisation, the circular economy, and equity, diversity & inclusion. Ruth brings a background in environmental consulting, with a Master’s in Environmental Management and Sustainability, and is committed to advancing climate resilience and nature-positive outcomes at the port.
