Zeynep Pinar Ogretmen has over 15 years of experience in climate change and GHG emission reduction projects. She is highly skilled in the Gold Standard and Verified Carbon Standard certification schemes. She worked as a Regional Affairs Manager, coordinating efforts across different regions and identifying business development opportunities for Gold Standard. Currently, she continues her work as a Carbon Consultant providing services to project developers.

Andrew Kautoke is a Senior Manager at Tonga Power Limited (TPL), overseeing Strategic Planning, Business Development, and the Major Projects department. In his pivotal role, Andrew supports the Acting Chief Executive Officer in effectively managing the nation’s renewable energy transition projects. These projects encompass a variety of renewable energy initiatives, including solar and wind energy, network upgrades, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to enhance grid resilience.

Samrat Ray has over 17 years of experience in the energy sector and has worked across the value chain from power generation, transmission, and distribution.  Having worked extensively in Africa and India, on aspects like energy policy, renewable energy, energy efficiency and sector reforms on the public side, he has also been closely involved in working with the private sector on scaling renewable energy both at the grid and off grid scale, supporting private sector investment in transmission and distribution.

Sonam Zam is a civil engineer committed to advancing renewable energy and sustainability. Equipped with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Bhutan and a Master’s in Renewable Energy from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, Sonam has gained experience in the field. Since January 2023, she has served as a Project Officer at ADB, Bhutan Resident Mission, focusing on energy and urban projects. Prior to joining ADB, she spent over a decade at Druk Green Power Corporation, where she gained valuable experience in hydropower development and project management.

Srikanth Chandrasekaran has been associated with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) for the past 10 years focused on developing key standardisation programs that address core issues of security, identity, trust and building end-to-end trustworthy devices and systems across emerging areas such as IoT/Smart Cities, Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Sensors and Blockchain.

After more than fifteen years' experience in the field of energy, environment and health at various sectors ranging from consulting firm to UNDP, JICA, and international NGOs in developing countries in Asia and Caribbean regions, Ms. Hayashi joined IGES in 2020 as a programme manager, strongly involved in the development of integrated solid waste management in Asia by incorporating local capacity and context with the focus on circular economy and resource efficiency.
