Lei Guangchun

Professor, School of Ecology & Nature Conservation, Beijing Forestry University Professor LEI Guangchun has 30 years’ experience in wetland ecology and migratory bird conservation. He worked in government and NGO sectors; and then became Dean of the School of Nature Conservation, Beijing Forestry University since 2007, after his commitment as Senior Advisor for the Asia and Oceania region in Ramsar Convention Secretariat. Prof. Lei was one of the initiators of the East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership (EAAFP), which was launched in November in 2006.

Liu Ning

Mr Liu Ning serves as the Deputy Director General Level Department of Nature Ecology Conservation Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Negotiator for CBD COP15. He previously served for almost five years as the Deputy Permanent Representative Chinese Permanent Mission to United Nations Environment Programme in Nairobi, Kenya. From 2002-2014, Mr Liu Ning was the Director, Division of European Affairs Department of International Cooperation Ministry of Environmental Protection.

Li Yan

Ms. Yan is the Deputy Director General of the Department of Wetland Management and National Forestry and Grassland Administration, P. R. China. She graduated from Northeast Forestry University, specializing in forestry economy. She is in charge of the implementation of the Convention on wetlands, Ramsar Sites management, Wetland City Accreditation, and international cooperation in wetland area.
