Byounggun Kim

Dr. Byounggun Kim is currently the Director of Strategic Public Procurement Research Division of the Korea Institute of Procurement (KIP). Mr. Kim has been a dedicated researcher with a decade of experience at the KIP, specializing in leveraging public procurement for the advancement of government policies and the enhancement of public services, particularly benefiting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). He has been instrumental in shaping innovative procurement policies, with a focus on driving competitiveness and sustainability.

Yeunil Kim

Yeunil Kim is a Professor at the Public Procurement Capacity Development Institute. Prior to this, he worked in Chungbuk Regional Public Procurement Service, Construction Engineering Contract Division, and Seoul Regional Public Procurement Construction Contract Division.

Mr. Kim studied real estate management at Seoul Cyber University.

1st e-Procurement Education Program in Asia and Pacific Region

In collaboration with the Public Procurement Service of Korea (PPS) and the Korean Institute of Procurement, ADB organized the e-Procurement Education Program in Asia and the Pacific Region on 26-30 August 2024 in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Aimed at developing strategies and strengthening capabilities for rolling out e-Procurement based on the Korean experience, the program showcased study tours in the cities of Daejeon, Gimcheon, and Seoul.

Goran Davidovski

Goran Davidovski is currently working as Deputy head of Department at the Public Procurement Bureau, North Macedonia where he is in charge of the Monitoring of Public Procurement System and Development of e-Procurement an e-Tools. He participated in the working group that developed and implemented the existing e-Procurement system in 2009 and over the years has been involved in all aspects of the development and promotion of the e-Procurement and e-Tools, as well as the general national public procurement system.

Tanvir Hossain

Tanvir Hossain is currently the Sr. Procurement Specialist  is the Procurement Team Leader of the World Bank for the Western Balkans countries, Romania and Turkey.  He has over 26 years of successful experience in various challenging procurement environments, both in development organizations and the private sector.
