CWRD Brown Bag Seminar Held on Public Attitude towards COVID-19 Vaccination in CAREC region

On 9 March, the CAREC Institute and the Public Opinion Research Institute (Kazakhstan) shared preliminary findings from the ongoing study of public attitudes towards COVID-19 vaccination in seven CAREC countries. Over 60 participants attended the seminar which discussed the study methodology and preliminary key findings and recommendations for vaccination campaigns in CAREC countries.

To fight COVID-19, Taipei,China employed a strategy focused on three elements: border control; community pandemic prevention; and preservation of the clinical care system.

SERD Policy Talk (SPOT): Reshaping Cities in Post-COVID-19 World

The 7th SPOT on Reshaping Cities in the Post-COVID-19 World discussed these issues:

a) the challenges of the urban cities in battling the impact of COVID-19;

b) how cities can play the role of job creators and engines of growth; and

c) what the private sector can do to reshape cities.

The speakers included Thuy Trang Dang of SEUW, Arghya Sinha Roy of SDCD, Jiang Yi of EREA, and Sanjay Grover of OPOH with James Villafuerte of SERC as moderator.
