2024 Resilience Learning Month

In celebration of the 2024 Resilience Learning Month, the Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management divisions of the Climate Change, Resilience, and Environment cluster (CCRE) under the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department (CCSD), in partnership with the Culture and Talent Division of the Budget, Personnel, and Management Systems Department (BPMSD), hosted a series of virtual and in-person learning events.

Christina Cheong

Christina Cheong is a Climate Change focal at the Pacific Department in ADB. She joined ADB 3 years ago and supports Pacific governments to plan for and adapt to climate change induced hazards. As a civil and structural engineer, she is especially keen on promoting resilience in the built environment through policy and infrastructure solutions. Christina has worked with the Global Green Growth Institute where she led the institution’s Green Buildings program. She also managed the UN Women Safe Cities Program in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
