This presentation shows how the Women Ecopreneurs Lab empowers grassroots women’s leadership to protect the environment and build healthier, more resilient communities— now and into the future. The program is built on the fact that when women leaders are equipped with resources and support to scale their solutions, share resources and knowledge, and hone strategies for change, real transformation takes root.

Promoting Climate-Resilient Livelihood Outcomes of Vulnerable Households through Social Safety Net Programmes

This presentation shows how the World Food Programme supports vulnerable communities through early warning information, anticipatory action insurance, and livelihood support to build resilience; and provides technical assistance to help governments deliver more inclusive and climate-informed social protection systems and programs.

Dorothea Ramizo

Dotty is a seasoned economics researcher in international trade, trade policy, and econometric analysis with several publications in peer-reviewed journals. She has completed her MA in Economics from the University of the Philippines and obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Hamburg University, Ghent University, and Erasmus University Rotterdam as an Erasmus Mundus scholar. She is currently working on her PhD Economics dissertation at Curtin University in Perth, Australia.
