Xia Li

Xia Li obtained her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ursuline College. She is a young entrepreneur and the Founder of Shenzhen Power-Solution Ind. Co., Ltd., a solar company dedicated to supplying the bottom of the pyramid (BoP) people with high-quality and affordable solar solutions. Her work contributes to the realization of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the areas of Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG 7) and poverty alleviation (SDG 1).

Roy Torbert

Roy is a Principal on the Islands Energy Program specializing in integrated energy planning, project cost analyses, and renewable and efficiency finance to expand and accelerate the transition to a global clean energy economy. Roy manages the Islands team helping the governments and utilities of Caribbean islands reduce their dependence on imported fossil fuels. He has worked with leading universities and global multinationals to analyze net-zero opportunities and deliver roadmaps to reaching carbon reduction goals.

Mikell O’Mealy

Mikell leads projects and supports partners working on climate change, clean energy, climate-smart agriculture, and resilience in the Asia and Pacific region. She has more than 20 years of experience building capacity and cooperation at international, regional, and local levels, with proven skills in public-private partnerships, convening and facilitation, research and analysis, and project management for sustainable and scalable impact.

Michael Satin

Michael Satin is the Director of the Clean Energy and Environment Office in USAID/India. Mr. Satin joined the Foreign Service in 2005 and is trained as an ecologist at San Francisco State University and applied economist at the University of West Virginia. He speaks French and Wolof, served in Nigeria, Afghanistan, Thailand, Guinea, and Bangladesh, arrived in India in 2016 and was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal.

 

 

Mathieu Gèze

Mathieu is Head of Asia Business Development at HDF Energy, a French Independent Power Producer dedicated to the generation of clean and firm high power. Mathieu has over 10 years of experience in Renewable Energy through various positions within IPP, EPC and key supplier companies. Prior to joining HDF Energy in 2018, Mathieu managed the development of the Moroccan and South-Europe subsidiaries of a French developer and EPC. Mathieu was also a Business Development Manager at ArcelorMittal Exosun.

Mark Lister

After starting out in corporate finance, Mark Lister specialized in energy efficiency (EE) almost 20 years ago and has become a leading advocate for expanded EE deployment. He has been involved with industry advocacy in Australia, worked on grassroots projects in sub-Saharan Africa, and lectured in postgraduate sustainable energy courses.
