He is the co-chair of the SIG F1: “Transport and Spatial Development” of the World Conference of Transport Research Society (WCTRS), and has worked at the Institute for Transport Policy Studies (2000-2003), the Japan Automobile Research Institute (2004-2008), and the Research Institute of Innovative Technology for the Earth (2008-2009), before joining Kagawa University in 2009.
