Prof. Dr. Lars Sørgard is a distinguished Professor at the Department of Economics at the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen, Norway, and Director of the Bergen Center for Competition Law and Economics. His primary expertise is in the areas of competitive strategy and competition policy. He served six years as the Director General at the Norwegian Competition Authority (until 2022) and previously as its Chief Economist. He has also been a member of the board of the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway.

Prof. Dr. Leigh Hancher is a renowned European competition and regulatory law expert with an extensive background in energy market regulation and sectoral policy reforms. She is the Director and Professor of the Energy Union Law Area at the Florence School of Regulation, Visiting Professor of European energy market law at the University of Bergen, and European Law at the University of Tilburg in the Netherlands.

Tilak Siyambalapitiya assumed duties on 26th September 2024. Dr. Siyambalapitiya carries 40 years of experience in the energy sector of Sri Lanka, in south and southeast Asia, the Middle East and east Africa. Siyambalapitiya graduated from University of Moratuwa, and earned his PhD from the University of Cambridge.

Zoltan is an Earth Observation Application Engineer in the Earth Observation Directorate of the European Space Agency (ESA), based in Italy. His work focuses on growing the prospects of satellite Earth Observation (EO) data and applications being used coherently and sustainably in the day-to-day activities of various user groups, organizations, and industry sectors. The projects he oversees as a technical officer are typically anchored in real-world user requirements, trying to demonstrate the impact of EO and establish sectorial best practices for its use.

Mr. Battsengel Jamsranjav Jadambaa is the designated Senior Procurement Officer at ADB’s Procurement, Portfolio, and Financial Management Department (PPFD). He is responsible for providing procurement advice and support to ADB sector groups and executing and implementing agencies of Mongolia.
