Lars Sørgard

Prof. Dr. Lars Sørgard is a distinguished Professor at the Department of Economics at the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen, Norway, and Director of the Bergen Center for Competition Law and Economics. His primary expertise is in the areas of competitive strategy and competition policy. He served six years as the Director General at the Norwegian Competition Authority (until 2022) and previously as its Chief Economist. He has also been a member of the board of the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway.

Leigh Hancher
