economic demands. Speakers will examine strategies for building high
quality, coordinated data systems that enable timely, evidence-based
decisions in education and skills development. The session will highlight how
research analytics and AI-powered tools can guide policy, optimize
investments, and support rapid interventions, with real-world examples
showcasing measurable impact.

The opening session of the second day of the Forum explored how education and skills systems can prepare Asia and the Pacific for a more prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable future amid accelerating climate impacts, digital transformation, and rapidly evolving labor-market demands. The session introduced the lens of the day, spotlighting the growing urgency for faster, more effective skills development, the importance of climate and future-proof learning, and the critical role of multisector collaboration in delivering transformation at scale. 

This presentation provides a practical roadmap for education systems to move beyond AI policy confusion and take focused, context-driven action using clear strategic lenses and priorities.
