This year’s ACEF will be held in-person from 13-16 June at the ADB Headquarters with the theme, Navigating toward a Carbon-Neutral Future through Clean Energy Solutions. The Forum will comprise a diverse set of discussions, including Thematic Track Sessions, Deep Dive Workshops, Spotlight Sessions, Regional Sessions, and Plenary Sessions. The event will once again include informal networking sessions to stimulate that sense of in-person connection that has been missing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Energy Sector Group will get together on 31 January to assess the previous year’s work, reap the lessons, and plan for 2023. After the approval of the Energy Policy in 2021 and the Energy Sector Directional Guide in 2022 what follows would be the more crucial part of rolling up our sleeves and getting down to the business of fully implementing what we are set out to do. This year’s planning will be punctuated by the New Operating Model which will provide the organizational parameters of the directions that will be collectively set at the meeting.

On 12 January 2023, the directional guides for education, energy, finance, health, transport, urban, and water sectors will be launched at an event that will be led by MDG Woochong Um together with SDCC DG Bruno Carrasco and SERD DG Ramesh Subramaniam at 2:00 pm, in Auditorium 4 and virtually.
