Oliver Domagas, ADB’s Principal Financial Control Specialist, led a seminar on Loan and Grant Disbursement for representatives of executing and implementing agencies (EAs/IAs) involved in Pakistan’s ADB-funded projects on April 29–30. The seminar, jointly conducted by the PRM Disbursement Unit and the Controller’s Department in collaboration with the PRM’s Capacity Development Resource Center, brought together 51 participants from across Pakistan to refresh their understanding of ADB’s disbursement policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring more efficient and timely disbursement processing. Key topics included recent updates to the Loan Disbursement Handbook, withdrawal application processes, and disbursement modalities, such as reimbursement, advance funding, commitment letters, and direct payment procedures. The sessions featured interactive modules and knowledge assessments, equipping participants with practical tools to improve disbursement performance.
