e-Procurement Education Program in Asia and Pacific Region
26 to 30 August 2024

In collaboration with the Public Procurement Service of Korea (PPS) and the Korean Institute of Procurement, ADB organized the e-Procurement Education Program in Asia and the Pacific Region on 26-30 August 2024 in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Aimed at developing strategies and strengthening capabilities for rolling out e-Procurement based on the Korean experience, the program showcased study tours in the cities of Daejeon, Gimcheon, and Seoul. A total of 20 government officials engaged in e-procurement development of eleven developing member countries participated in the program and shared their experience and learning through pre-workshop submissions of country reports, active engagement in preparation and presentation of country action plans for advancing e-procurement according to their respective country contexts. PPS Administrator Ki-keun Lim welcomed the participants while Director Inseung Choi delivered the closing remarks. Bonnie Mendoza thanked the Korean partners and participants during the closing program on behalf of the ADB team, which was also participated in by Khounkham Thammalangsy and Sopheark Mith Chea.
