Irrigation Modernization and Design of Pipe Distribution Networks
ADB conducted a 5-day training on Irrigation Modernization and Pipe Distribution Networks from 29 July to 2 August 2024 in Islamabad. PRM CD Yong Ye speaking at the closing session reiterated ADB’s commitment to impart new skills and strengthen capacity of project implementation agencies through PRM’s Capacity Development Resource Center. 60 participants primarily irrigation and agriculture practitioners from the executing and implementing agencies of the federal and provincial governments, academia, consulting firms and manufacturing industry joined the program opened by PRM DCD Asad Aleem and delivered by international trainers. The design exercises applied case studies for potential use in future investments with comparative advantage on conventional open flow systems.
