Identifying Priority Sites for Migratory Waterbirds in Bangladesh

The site selection process undertaken by the Regional Flyway Initiative (RFI) is explained and the priority wetland sites in Bangladesh is presented after considering biodiversity data and conservation potential of the wetlands. A total of 8 priority sites have been identified in the country, composed of 5 coastal and 3 freshwater wetlands.
