Anthony Maxwell

Anthony Maxwell currently holds a position of Principal Energy Specialist in the Energy Transition Mechanism and Partnerships (ETMP) team at Asian Development Bank (ADB).

With over 30 years of experience, he has led the design and financing of portfolios of clean energy infrastructure projects across more than 22 countries in the Asia Pacific region. His extensive career includes over 15 years with ADB, as well as 4 years as energy lead with the Australian Infrastructure Facility for the Pacific [AIFFP], established within the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). He has led transactions across Southeast Asia, Central Asia, East Asia and the Pacific. Anthony is currently based in Jakarta where he leads work on supporting Indonesia energy transition.
