Manoj Kumar is the Deputy CEO of Government eMarketplace (GeM), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, India. His primary responsibilities include Product-Marketplace Management, Services Management and Forward Auction Management. He has over 15 years combined experience in the public and private sectors. He was a former officer of the Indian Facories Service (OFS) where he worked for over 12 years in various capacities such as Planning, Production & Maintenance, Public Procurement and IT Administration in the Defense Production Sector. He has also worked briefly in the Software industry in India.
He has been awarded the Ayudh Vir Award in recognition of outstanding and exemplary contribution towards innovation and excellence for the cause of defence production in the Ordnance Factories Organisation.
