What key lessons can the UN offer to solve the poverty-environment issues of the People’s Republic of China?

Green development and poverty reduction—these are important itineraries common in both the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the People’s Republic of China’s national development strategy. This presentation shares some of the UN’s experiences in environment and poverty reduction, including its programs on Green Economy Initiative, Poverty-Environment Initiative, payments for environmental services, and environmental finance and small grants for poverty alleviation.
