This is the Final Report of the Improving Legal and Regulatory Framework for Environmental Impact Assessment Sub-Project of TA 7566-REG: Strengthening and Use of Country Safeguard Systems. The Report consists of three additional sections and two Appendices. Section 2 outlines the original background and proposed outputs from the project. Section 3 presents the final outputs achieved, and Section 4 presents final conclusions and recommendations. The Appendices consist of the key activities originally proposed, along with the initial diagnostic review.
