ADB Vice-President Bambang Susantono, including a keynote speech by WorldFish Global Lead for Nutrition and Public Health Dr. Shakuntala Haraksingh Thilsted, and a panel discussion

Session Synopsis: The global community has set ambitious commitments and targets for achieving healthy marine ecosystems and technologies play an indispensable role in achieving that. Through the Healthy Oceans Tech and Finance Forum, ADB aimed to share with developing member countries (DMCs) and other stakeholders the latest innovations, technologies, and practical solutions for ocean health to achieve increased and more impactful investments.

This session was introduced by moderator Sharanjit Leyl, followed by an opening speech by ADB Vice-President Bambang Susantono, a keynote address by Dr. Shakuntuala Haraksingh Thilsted of WorldFish, and then a seaside chat featuring a short presentation and panel discussion. The seaside chat highlighted different perspectives, urgent needs, and priorities for action and investments in oceans and coastal communities.
