Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) recognize the need to work together to avert the danger of climate change by mobilizing public, private, bilateral, multilateral, and alternative finance sources.

In 2012, MDBs worked together to develop methodologies for tracking their mitigation and adaptation finance flows in a consistent, comparable, and transparent manner. This material gives an overview of the joint MDBs approach on climate finance tracking.
